When did you first start collecting?
1985 as a kid. As an adult, 2002.
How did you start collecting?
As a kid I collected G1 toys. As an adult, I got into it again in 2002 when I started buying vintage G1 toys, G1 reissues, and the first Masterpieces and Binaltech toys.
What was the first item that started your collection?
As a kid, G1 Dirge.
As an adult, Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I was blown away by its quality and cartoon accuracy, especially in robot mode.
What are your most prized pieces in your collection?
DX9 Gabriel (Omega Supreme), Hasbro Unicron, Takara Masterpiece Megatron (MP-36) and Fanstoys Thomas (Astrotrain).
For Unicron and Omega Supreme, the huge size and presence is incredible. Unicron has an amazing alt mode as a planet. And Thomas and Megatron have incredible transformations.
What is the most recent item you’ve acquired from TBI?
Fanstoys Acousticwave (Soundwave).
What piece/s are you most looking forward to adding to your collection?? Fanstoys Blitzwing.
